Welcome to the Cruising Section.

The objective of the Cruising Section is to provide Cruising opportunities (sail & motor) and/or social events throughout the year for members of GYC.  Whether sailing or dining our aim is to be ‘inclusive’ and all members of the Club are welcome to join in.

At the time of writing 12 skippers have attended the two ‘Open Meetings’ held to date. We have both sail and motor skippers looking for crew and crew looking for berths.

The Cruising Programme for 2010 is in the Cruising Calendar.  Like all plans it is likely to change so please keep checking the calendar for updates.

There will be a meeting on the evening before departure in the Clubhouse at 2100hrs for those that wish to attend to discuss the weather, departure time, and, if necessary, an alternative destination.
