A mixed fleet (power & sail) of five boats took part namely ‘Calypso’ (Hallberg Rassy 39 - David & Ann Marie Mitchison), ‘Jemmaly’ (Broom 39 – Paul & Michele Steele), ‘Kite Runner’ (Southerly 110 – Richard & Mary Storey), ‘Meltemi’ (Maxi 1050 - Phil & Julie Ball), & ‘Polaris’ (Hardy 36 – Martin & Christine Lewis).

The original plan, devised by Richard Storey, was for a was for a 12 day Cruise starting on Saturday 23 July but with generally fair weather the Cruise got stretched to 19 days with longer stays in some harbours than originally intended and going a bit further west.

Harbours visited were St Malo (Sablons - St Servan), Plouer (‘Kite Runner’ also spent a night in Dinan), St Cast, Binic, Paimpol, Lezardrieux, Pontrieux, & Treguier.

What was amazing was that we had little or no problem berthing at any of the harbours visited.

Another hard night: Hôtel de l’Estuaire Restaurant, Treguier. Quite a few Restaurants were visited but this was voted the best.
