The Motor Committee have finalised arrangements for the first of the Motor events.

Friday 14th May

• 19:00hrs Meet with Guernsey Yacht Club
• Official Briefing for Saturday Rock Hopping
• Presentation by Colin Ferbrache on the Channel Island Air Search

Saturday 15th May

• 10:30hrs Meet at the Guernsey Yacht Club for Breakfast
• 12:00hrs Rock hopping – Humps / Beacons / Passages
• 15:00hrs Herm for a walk / cream tea / maybe a tipple!
• 17:30hrs Back in Guernsey

The Motor Committee have been overwhelmed by the interest and numbers who have indicated they would like to come on the trip. In view of this and the tightness and accuracy required for some of the passages, there will be 4 boats with a guide on each boat. The numbers will be limited to 40 people and is now fully booked.

The Jersey weekend will be with members' own boats as will the Round the Island Trip.

The Motor Committee have a very interesting land based back up plan for the day in the event of bad weather. The event will still start with the breakfast at the GYC at 10:30hrs on Saturday.
