Strong winds on Saturday led the organisers to cancel the practice race leaving the sailors with plenty of time to sort out boats, equipment and handle other practicalities. But now the racing is on, in lighter conditions. The Standards have completed their first two races. Darragh started with an excellent fifth but fell back a bit in race 2 and is now 15th overall with heavy wind specialist Dave in 19th. Now time for the Radials and their two races for the day. The racing takes place in Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight southeast coast. Nine races are scheduled for the week in both classes with a spare day on Wednesday and the final race on Friday. Follow the sailors on http://www.natwestiowresults2011.com/sport.aspx?SportID=10. All the best to the Team! Good luck and fly the flag high!
