Over 50 people attended this short event ensuring that the Commodores Room was packed once again. A great atmosphere, much shouting and a few winners helped to make this very enjoyable.
Those that attended the lunch reported that the event was a big success with over 60 members and guests attending. Special mention was made of the table decorations
An evening described by others (in writing!) as "great fun" and "a great balance of questions" paints the picture. 96 people in tables of six enjoyed a great evening. Adam Reed acted as Quiz Master for the evening and the questions were posed by the imperious Glen Stanfield - his 4th round of Weather related questions will go down in history - one team played a joker on 30 questions and had 100% success!...
71 patrons packed out the upstairs bar and enjoyed a memorable evening with a few nice surprises: Colin and his team prepared a four course dinner when we had all expected just three courses (all of which were excellent); several ladies and not a few men arrived wearing Chinese outfits which looked from the sublime to straight out gorgeous and many of the guests had only recently joined the club and it was excellent to see them all there.Sincere thanks to all of those who worked so hard for a...
A packed clubhouse with 82 tickets sold for the “Gourmet Cruise Around The World” dinner and dance.
Party goers arrived in a wide variety of costumers. Many went Posh and wore Black Tie and Cocktail Dresses but the prizes, if there were any, went to the party of 24 who all turned up variously dressed as pirates and to the couple who turned an old Spinnaker into a strapless dress for her and a toga for him!!
