About Us PDF Print E-mail

The Guernsey Yacht Club was officially formed in 1860, but had been operating informally for 100 years before that.

The clubhouse and membership have grown steadily over the years to be Guernsey's foremost yacht club.

The GYC hosts many national championships and boasts the premises and skills to run first class events. The GYC is run by a committee of dedicated people passionate about everything to do with the sea.

We have a very active junior section and encourage young people to get involved in sailing. Racing is a big passion of the GYC with many active members. Please check our racing calendar for upcoming events.
