Saturday mornings 9 – noon commencing Saturday 27^th April.

3 hourly sessions:

9.15 – 10 am Bronze

10.05 – 10.50 am Silver

10.55 – 12.05 am Gold

    Buccaneers

Sea Oppies ages 8 – 14 primarily conducted on the sea based on ability, however the pond / classroom may be substituted under certain weather conditions.

Sunday afternoons 1 pm – 4 pm commencing Sunday 29^th April-30^th June.

    Optimist Academy**

Optimists only ages 8 – 15, sea based only, however the classroom may be substituted under certain weather conditions.

Optimists are available for hire for the term.

Saturday afternoons 2pm – 4.30 commencing Saturday 28^th April-29^th June.

   Fevas and Teras

Double handed Fevas ages 8 – 18 primarily conducted on the sea based on ability, however the classroom may be substituted under certain weather conditions.

Sunday afternoons 1 pm- 4pm commencing Sunday 29^th April-30^th June.

    Optimist  Racing*

Optimists only ages 8 to 15, sea based only, however the classroom may be substituted under certain weather conditions. Saturday afternoons 2 pm – 4.30 commencing Saturday 28^Th April-29^th June.

    Term Dates

The term will be 8 weeks (sessions) in length but will exclude the following dates:

Wednesday 29^th May

Saturday 1^st June

Sunday 2^nd June

Single – handed.

Ilca 4, Ilca 6 and Teras ages 12-18, sea based only.

Wednesday evenings from 5 pm, 8 weeks commencing 24^th April.

   Costs

All courses £100 per term. Bursaries or reduction in fees are available under certain circumstances and assessed on an individual basis.

Academy sailors to own their own boats or charter a club optimist for £100 per term

*Blue/ Green Optimist groups renamed ‘Academy’.

   **Red Optimist Group renamed ‘Racing’.

There will be no Advanced Feva group in 2024 (due to lack of attendance during 2023) but will be incorporated into Funday Fevas on Sunday Afternoons.
