Why Become a member of the GYC?

The GYC, situated in a prominent position close to Castle Cornet and overlooking the harbour, caters for a wide range of boating activities both sailing and motor as well as an extremely active junior section offering dinghy training as well as a varied social calendar.

The clubs facilities were extended during 2009 and now offer a large ‘Panorama Balcony’. Here members and guests can take advantage of the Alfresco dining with superb views across to Herm, Castle Cornet and St Martin’s Point.

The GYC welcomes all visiting yachtsmen to take advantage of its modern, friendly facilities.

Guernsey is an ideal venue to break the journey between England and France the clubhouse being an easy stroll from the Victoria Marina.

The Club's bar is open daily throughout the year for Members, their guests and visiting yachtsmen. Excellent and reasonably priced food is available at lunchtime and tea, coffee, & cakes are available in the morning and afternoon.

Membership enables sailors, cruising or motorboat enthusiasts the opportunity to crew on many different types of boats. Boat owners are always looking for new crew members to join their team or share their fun.

Catering & Bar Facilities

Our catering and functions facilities offer members a place to relax alone or with friends, or host events and parties in one of our private rooms, with full on-site catering and bar available.
